I find that your rejection of religious dogmatism in philosophy misunderstands the very problem you have pointed out. There is also a confusion in your writing over what "the intellect" is. Heidegger, one of the most influential hermeneuticists in the twentieth century, pointed out that it is the essence of being that people interpret themselves in their being, and that all aspects of this being are fundamentally being in the world. Being in the world cannot be reduced to a single perspective rationally arrived at. It depends upon the possibilities for being that dwell in a particular time and in the particular relation of being in the world to existence (being) itself in that particular time. Philosophy, as an interpretation created by beings and interpreting the very nature of being, cannot be dogmatic because potentialities change dependent upon being in time. That is, because time limits human experiences and interpretations, Heidegger notes that a dogmatic philosophy of existing in the world (both individually and in general) is impossible. Even the fundamental assumptions of any philosophy are subject to this, even Heidegger's own assumptions.
